2022年10月，李远课题组通过改变底电极的表面形貌（均方根粗糙度从~3 ?增大至~3 nm），将自组装分子膜的塞贝克系数调控了超过5倍，电极越平整，分子排列越好，相应的塞贝克系数也更大。

2022年4月，李远课题组报道了由于二元混合自组装分子膜端基之间的范德华相互作用引起的强的耦合效应，使分子结的电荷隧穿速率提高两个数量级，导致分子结从高性能二极管变成纯电阻。
